This is a very short narrative starring a very capable “feel” talent in Mizzi. It’s a very simple pictorial depicting a love worth waiting for. hmm, reminds me of a Shakin’ Steven songs back in the 80s of the same title. Mizzi was wonderful! esp. i like her “staring into blankness” with her Ayumi-esque eyes! so big ler.

Again, all shot with SB600s mounted on stands, shooting thru umbrellas. The challenge here was taking into account the fading light… a very fast fading light. Shooting with strobes takes a bit longer than without. There is the setting up first.. a bit painstaking at times… but controlling the light is in our hands this time instead of relying on ambient or street lamps. very cool.

Enjoy this little story,ya.

Dennie & Foress

April 27, 2009

We shot this loving couple, Dennie & Foress a week before their actual day wedding – as a supplement to their already shot prewedding pictures. But this session was with a bit of difference, the styling stayed away from the norm and I was VERY MUCH happier shooting this “renegade way”.

Roaming amongst the narrow streets around the Khuan Yim Theng temple, me with my two buddies, TY and Jack, braved the mighty hot sun and had a “hot” session with these two lovebirds, as the cuddled amongst curious onlookers – including a pair of busybody cats! … i just couldn’t resist taking a few pics of them. One even came curiously infront of my lens, meowing and massaging against my ankle. so fun is photography!

Enjoy the pictures!!!

Grace :: GracefooLy

April 26, 2009

This is a more “fashion” approach as this is one of the sets that was fully shot with off-shoe flashes. It was challenging yet fun and the results are pretty satisfying. It actually does not need much photoshop editing out of camera… yet, with my itcy hands – i just can’t stop editing….. just part of the process that has imbedded into my system…haiz…..

Grace was simply mesmerising and her poses reli does not look like an amatuer… she can really give the pros a run for their money. With Jack providing expertise in light-placing, the shoot was nothing but pure SHIOKness. Have a blast!
