Nicole was back in Penang and I was thinking of doing Passport:Penang again but then, I was thinking of doing something new… but then again, we were shooting, this time, in another of Penang’s tourist belt – along Batu Feringghi streets n beach. So, the last time was in Penang’s Little India, this time… another tourist place, you could literally call this Passport:Penang II.

Nicole was much thinner this time around… and gosh, with longer curlier hair, she does look like a caucasian. Her smiling coolness was still the same though…one thing I could instantly recognize. She will always be the first girl I shot in full frame glory. haha. She is one girl that me and my camera won’t ever forget. People who knows me know that I am forgetful-king. :)

Have a look at the pictures as Nicole strolls along the narrow strip of road of Batu Feringghi and later as she relaxes on the beach a stone’s throw away from Holiday Inn Penang.

the FULL collection is at my Smugmug

  1. Hi,

Love the collection. Just wondering about the lighting technique you use(if any). Love the color on the photos taken on the beach. I can never achieve such result :(

  2. Legend:: Thanks man. haha. ya. spent the last weekend tearing both my hair (not a lot left) and leg hair finding the right theme. Finally found one that I relli liked in Tofurious theme.
Iceman:: wah. u got the same nickname as mine, last time. haha. I am callsign “Iceman” after playing lots of WW2 simulator. I used the SB600 with umbrella upfront and one SB600 with yellow/orange gel behind. That evening was surreal… i don’t think I can achieve the whole effect without the wonderful sky that day. Nicole brought some S’wak magic to Penang.

  3. Cool, same nickname. This nickname has been with me since young (due to some reason). Thank you for sharing the info. Still got a lot to learn from you :) especially on lighting. I just started venturing into lighting.
